High Peak MP meets Cabinet Minister for Education

On Tuesday 14 July, MP for High Peak, Robert Largan met with the Secretary of State for Education, Gavin Williamson. MPs from across Derbyshire attended the socially distanced meeting. They discussed plans to re-open schools and issues affecting local education providers.

Robert Largan, MP for High Peak, has this week joined a new energy awareness campaign—‘Energy High 5’—that has the power to save households in his constituency as much as £7.5m on their annual energy spend, and reduce carbon emissions by 46,673 tonnes of CO2.

Boost to High Peak tourism and hospitality welcomed by Robert Largan MP

Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon Rishi Sunak MP, has announced a much-needed boost for tourism and hospitality businesses in High Peak, as part of his Summer Economic Update to kickstart the economy post-Coronavirus.

Up to 560 businesses in the High Peak could stand to benefit.
