Many local residents report problems with fly-tipping in the High Peak. Studies have shown a link between unclean streets, fly-tipping and increased anti-social behaviour. A proposal has been put forward to build a Police 'Super Hub' in Chapel-en-le-Frith, whilst still maintaining physical police locations in Buxton and Glossop, which would allow for faster response times across the whole High Peak.
